P.O.D. [Payable On Death] — американская группа основанная в
1992 году в пригороде Сан-Диего [прозванном Southtown], играющая в стиле
рэпкор и ню-метал, изредка добавляя элементы рэгги. Состав группы
состоит из вокалиста Sonny Sandoval, Wuv Bernardo ударника, гитариста
Marcos Curiel, и басист Traa Daniels. Они выпустили семь студийных
альбомов и продали более десяти миллионов записей по всему миру. На
протяжении своей карьеры, группа также получила три премии "Грэмми",

Название команды родилось с легкой руки будущей жены Wuv'а, банковской
служащей. P. O. D. аббревиатура для Payable On Death, что буквально
означает "Оплачиваемый По Смерти", то бишь долги, которые оплачиваются
при наступлении смерти должника его поручителем. Не скрывая своих
христианских взглядов, коллектив выбрал себе в качестве логотипа
триптих, как бы изображающий Отца, Сына и Святого Духа.
